About Oud Incense Cones
What are oud incense cones?
Oud incense cones are compact, cone-shaped incense made with genuine oud-derived fragrance and natural wood powders. Unlike thin incense sticks or synthetic incense, our cones are packed with concentrated fragrance oil, the same quality compositions we use in our diffusers and scented oils. When lit, they release a rich, layered scent that fills your home for 20-25 minutes of burning, with fragrance that lingers for hours.
How do I use oud incense cones?
Using AUURAH cones is simple:
- Place the cone on a heatproof burner or dish.
- Light the tip of the cone with a match or lighter.
- Let the flame burn for 5-10 seconds, then gently blow it out.
- The cone will smoulder, releasing fragrant smoke.
- Allow it to burn completely (approximately 20-25 minutes).
- Never leave burning cones unattended.
How long do the cones burn?
Each AUURAH oud incense cone burns for approximately 20-25 minutes. The fragrance will continue to fill your room for 3-6 hours afterwards, depending on room size and ventilation.
Are oud incense cones safe?
Yes. All our products are CLP compliant (Classification, Labelling and Packaging regulation) and fully safety tested for the UK and EU markets. However, as with any product involving fire:
- Never leave burning cones unattended
- Keep away from flammable materials
- Use on a heatproof surface only
- Keep out of reach of children and pets
- Ensure adequate ventilation
About Bakhoor
What is Bakhoor?
Bakhoor is traditional Arabian incense - wood chips soaked in fragrant oils and resins. It has been used in Gulf homes for centuries to fragrance spaces, welcome guests, and mark special occasions. Bakhoor is burned on charcoal or in an electric burner, releasing a richer, more intense smoke than incense cones.
How do I burn Bakhoor?
You can burn Bakhoor two ways:
- Traditional method: Light a piece of charcoal, place it in a Mabkhara (burner), and set a Bakhoor brick on top.
- Electric burner: Place a Bakhoor brick on our Electric Burner, switch it on, and enjoy smoke-free fragrance in minutes.
What is the difference between cones and Bakhoor?
Cones are self-burning incense - you light them and they smoulder on their own. Bakhoor requires an external heat source (charcoal or electric burner) to release its fragrance. Bakhoor typically produces a more intense, traditional smoke experience, while cones offer convenience and consistency.

Do you use real agarwood?
Yes. We work with real agarwood sourced through authentic Gulf supply chains that have operated for generations. This is not synthetic oud or lab-created alternatives. We are based in Kuwait at the source and our access to genuine materials has been established over decades and is a core part of who we are.
Where are AUURAH products manufactured?
All AUURAH products are crafted in our own factory. We do not outsource production. Every cone, diffuser, oil, and spray is made by our team, under our roof, to our standards.
Are your products CLP safety compliant?
Absolutely. Every AUURAH product carries full CLP compliance (Classification, Labelling and Packaging regulation), meeting all UK and EU safety requirements. This includes proper hazard labelling, allergen declarations, and safety data sheets.

Shipping & Delivery
How fast is shipping?
We offer UK standard delivery (2-3 business days) and express delivery (1-3 business days). Orders are processed within 1-2 business days. Free UK shipping on all orders over £35.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship to Europe and selected international destinations. International shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and weight. Please note that international orders may be subject to customs duties and taxes.
Returns & Refunds
What is your return policy?
We offer a 30-day return policy on all unopened products. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, contact us at hello@auurah.com to arrange a return and refund.
Can I return opened fragrance products?
For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on opened fragrance products. If a product arrives damaged or defective, we will replace it immediately - just contact us with a photo within 7 days of delivery.
Subscriptions & Refills
Do you offer subscriptions?
Yes. Our Subscribe & Save programme gives you 10% off all refill orders when you subscribe to regular deliveries. Choose your frequency (4, 6, or 8 weeks), never run out of your favourite scent, and save money every time.
Is there a minimum order?
No minimum order. Whether you are trying a single travel spray or stocking up on welcome packs, we are happy to serve you.
